Romulus Silvii

The Legendary founders of Rome where Romulus and Remus Silvii, and we don't fully know if they truly existed or not. I am of the opinion that they did as the fact that ROME comes from Romulus and usually if a city is named after you, you existed--however Athens is named after Athena and there are a few other examples--.

The fact that they were raised by wolves is also strange, however several children in India have been known to be raised by wolves, the infants grew into leaders in the shepherd/outlaw community of the Latin country side. Eventually the twins help their grandfather, Numitor, recapture his city of Alba Longa, leading an army of shepherds and outlaws was Romulus as Remus created an army on the inside. Later the army needed a place to stay to the Twins lead the way to the seven hills that now make up Rome.

Now this happened around 753BC and I was wondering if anyone else could tell me if there is any specific historical evidence about it. Please give sources for any opinions.
